Community Helpers’ Day
is observed help children recognize and appreciate the important roles of community helpers such as doctors, teachers, police officers, firefighters, farmers, and others in our daily lives. It aims to impart respect, gratitude, and awareness among students about the dignity of labor, while also encouraging them to value teamwork, responsibility, and service to society.
Sri Krishna Janmashtami
The school joyfully celebrated Krishna Janmashtami, the auspicious occasion marking the birth of Lord Krishna. The celebration aimed to inculcate in students the values of devotion, love, truth, and righteousness associated with the life of Krishna. The programme included cultural performances such as bhajans, skits depicting scenes from Krishna’s childhood, and the traditional DahiHandi event, which created great excitement among the students.
Visit to Neighbourhood - local tour in Kindergarten
A neighbourhood tour in kindergarten is to help young children explore and understand their immediate surroundings. It aims to develop their observation skills, social awareness, and understanding of community helpers and places such as the post office, police station, market, park, or bank. We visited “Canara Bank” and “Arkavathi Hospital”. Children were excited to know new things around us
International Tigers’ Day
Celebrating International Tiger Day in school is to raise awareness among students about the importance of conserving tigers and their natural habitat. It aims to teach a sense of responsibility and respect for wildlife, promote environmental consciousness, and educate young minds about the crucial role tigers play in maintaining ecological balance. Through engaging students in Educational activities, they are encouraged to become active participants in wildlife conservation efforts. Children from various grades participated in the event, including the Kindergarten section. The campus was filled with the roars of out little cubs and Tigers of Vidyashree High School.
Green Day Celebration at Kindergarten
To introduce the color ‘Green’ and help our little ones recognize and relate to it through fun-filled activities and visual learning, Green day was celebrated in Kindergarten. To enhance creative skills through green-themed art and colouring, work sheets were given to the children.
Rainy Day
The objective of celebrating Rainy Day in kindergarten is to provide young children with a joyful and sensory-rich experience that helps them understand and appreciate the rainy season. Through playful activities, the celebration aims to enhance their awareness of weather changes and the importance of rain in nature. It also encourages creativity and selfexpression through themed art, craft, music, and storytelling and vocabulary development as children participate in group activities, rhymes, and conversations related to the monsoon. Overall, the celebration fosters experiential learning in a fun and engaging manner, making the concept of the rainy season both educational and enjoyable.
Chocolate Day
Celebrating Chocolate Day in kindergarten, creates a joyful and engaging learning experience for children while introducing them to the concept of taste, food, and sharing. Through fun activities like dancing, singing, and chocolate making and tasting, children develop social skills and creativity. The celebration also encourages good manners, sharing habits, and builds excitement through sensory experiences, making learning both fun and memorable.
CBSE Expression series for the Academic Session 2025-26
To provide students a platform to express their thoughts and ideas creatively through essays, poems, drawings, slogans, and other forms of expression, to develop awareness among students on important national, social, cultural, and environmental issues aligned with current educational priorities and national goals. And to integrate co-scholastic learning with academic development as envisioned in the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, CBSE conducted the ‘Expression series for the Academic Session 2025-26’, with the theme “Compentency Focused Education”. Children from Grade VII to X participated in the activities such as, essays, poems, drawings, slogans based on the given theme. This will improve students' written and visual communication skills in an age-appropriate and engaging manner and also recognizes and celebrates the linguistic, cultural, and intellectual diversity among students across Grades
Rangotsav Handwriting and Colouring Competitions
These competitions aim to encourage creativity, self-expression, and an appreciation for neatness and presentation skills. Participation in these activities not only enhances artistic and academic abilities but also boosts confidence and nurtures a sense of achievement.
Kargil Vijay Diwas
The celebration of Kargil Vijay Diwas in school aims to inculcate patriotism, honor the courage and sacrifice of Indian soldiers, and educate students about the significance of the Kargil War. The day also fosters a sense of responsibility and respect towards the armed forces and inspires students to contribute positively to the nation.
Reading Mission
The CBSE Reading Mission aims to cultivate a love of reading and improve literacy skills among students. It focuses on fostering a strong reading culture, promoting access to quality reading materials, and enhancing reading comprehension and critical thinking skills. The mission aligns with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which emphasizes foundational literacy and numeracy. We had organised various reading activities across the classes starting from grade I to Grade X. Children actively participated and exhibited their creativity through innovative ideas on reading, puppet making, story writing, News Reading and so on. This mission encourages students to develop a lifelong habit of reading for pleasure and learning. And also supports the development of critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills through engaging reading activities.
Independence Day
Celebrating Independence Day in schoolimplants patriotism and pride to our nation, create awareness about the sacrifices of freedom fighters, and inspire students to uphold the values of unity,equality, and democracy. The celebration aims to cultivate respect for national symbols, encourage civic responsibility, and provide opportunities for students to showcase their talents through cultural activities. It also fosters gratitude for the freedom we enjoy today while motivating young minds to become responsible and committed citizens of the country.
Gurupurnima
fosters the importance of the Guru–Shishya tradition and to show respect towards those who shape their lives. The celebration included prayer sessions, speeches on the role of teachers, cultural performances, and students offering flowers or handmade cards to express their appreciation. This event has helped us strengthen the student–teacher bond through meaningful interaction and expressions of appreciation. It also helps us to encourage moral and spiritual growth by highlighting the values of discipline, dedication and learning.
Felicitation Ceremony from Sahodaya School Complex
We are proud to announce that Vidyashree High School has been felicitated by the Sahodaya School Complex for achieving excellent results in the (AISSE) CBSE Board Examinations. This recognition is a reflection of the dedicated efforts of our students, the unwavering support of parents, and the hard work and guidance of our teachers. The felicitation ceremony took place at Sindhi School, at Hebbal Bengaluru on 21 of July 2025. Our school was appreciated for academic excellence, student discipline, and consistent performance. Parent Orientation Programme
We conducted a Parents’ Orientation Programme in collabaration with ‘Ratnasagar’ our Academic Partner on 5 July 2025 for Grade III parents. This programme helps the parents to understand the overview of the academic curriculum and also understand your child’s learning journey at the school.
Doctor’s Day
Doctor’s Day was observed in the Campus to outline by engaging students in activities like speeches and awareness sessions, the celebration inspires even consider careers in health care. Ultimately, the day encouraged empathy, and awareness within the school community.
Investiture Ceremony
An Investiture Ceremony is a formal event where student leaders are officially given their roles and responsibilities. It marks the beginning of the new student council or leadership team for the academic year 2025-26 This encourage students to take up responsibilities and be accountable for their actions and duties. Help them cultivate essential leadership traits such as confidence, decision-making, integrity, and teamwork and also instill pride in school traditions and inspire student participation in co-curricular and academic activities. This is a platform for students to voice their ideas, lead initiatives, and grow into active, responsible citizens.This Saturday on 5th July 2025, marked a glorious chapter in the history of our school as we gathered to celebrate this pride moment. It was not just a function; it was a moment of promise, where the future leaders of our school were officially entrusted with their roles.
Scouts and Guides Environmental March
The Bharat Scouts and Guides in Karnataka celebrated WorldEnvironment Day on June 17th, 2025, with an "Environmental March" starting at VidhanaSoudha inBengaluru. The event was organized by the Department of Forest and Environment and the Karnataka State Pollution Control Board. The event was inaugurated by the Deputy Chief Minister, D.K. Shivakumar. The event was a part of a larger celebration of World Environment Day and aimed to promote environmental awareness and conservation. The march saw participants carrying placards and banners, and was followed by a speech emphasizing the importance of trees in maintaining ecological balance. The event also included students actively participating in watering plants within the school premises.
Student Council Election
Conducting student council elections in school is important, as it helps in the overall development of students beyond academics. It teaches the students the value of leadership, responsibility, and teamwork. Through the election process, students learn about democracy, how voting works, and why every voice matters. It also gives them a platform to express their ideas, represent their classmates, and contribute positively to the school environment.
Yoga
To promote physical, mental, and emotional well-being among students, we celebrated International Yoga Day on 21st June with great enthusiasm. The celebration began with a brief introduction highlighting the importance of yoga in daily life. Students participated in a guided yoga session, performing asanas such as Tadasana, Vrikshasana, Bhujangasana, and Pranayama techniques.
World Environment Day
We celebrated World Environment Day on 5 June 2025, a day to reflect on how we treat our planet. Every small act counts — saving water, planting trees, reducing plastic and spreading awareness. Let us make Earth a cleaner, greener place to live!
Welcome Back to School Primary & High School
A new academic year began and with it, fresh opportunities to grow, learn, and achieve more than ever before. We welcomed our High school students on 19th May and Primary students on 26 May 2025 with lots of fun filled events.
AISSE Board Results 2025
The results were officially declared on May 13, 2025, by the CBSE Board. We have achieved a remarkable 100% result in the board exam — an outstanding testament to the hard work, discipline, and excellence delivered.
